IT Field Support EngineerSalary: £35,000 + £4,800 car allowanceLocation: Carmarthen or Worcester12 month FTCSC Clearance Preffered We''re looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer to support a specialist customer across multiple locations. You''ll be based at either Carmarthen or Worcester for 3-5 days per week, with travel to other sites for project work and support cover. These may include Warwickshire, Exeter, Bristol, Dorset and Wiltshire. Hotel accommodation is provided where needed.Key Responsibilities:Travel to other sites to assist colleagues with project work, annual leave cover, and other support needs.Deliver support across Windows 10/11 operating systems, including troubleshooting and event log analysis.Offer software support and limited hardware support, including break/fix and fault finding.Manage Microsoft Server OS tasks such as joiners, leavers, movers, DHCP, DNS, ADDS, and VAMT.Conduct data management activities, including archiving data to tape via tape library systems.Perform BAU (Business As Usual) tasks such as: Antivirus monitoringNetwork monitoringStorage and capacity managementPhysical hardware health checksAuditing activitiesCarry out office moves, hardware installations, and basic server maintenance (Lenovo workstations and Dell Servers).Update administrative records and ticketing systems accurately and promptly.Follow written work instructions (SOPs) to complete tasks effectively.Create documentation for key processes for internal and customer ..... full job details .....
