IT Field Engineer Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire (with travel to client sites) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting for a growing Managed Service Provider looking for a IT Field Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role for someone with an interest in IT and networking who wants to develop their skills and gain experience working alongside experienced engineers. The Role Assist with IT and network installations at customer sites Help engineers install and configure routers, switches and other network equipment Assist with cabling, hardware and general infrastructure projects Provide basic troubleshooting across Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V Support engineers with customer projects, site visits and infrastructure maintenance Gain hands-on experience across networking, servers, cloud and IT infrastructure Learn and develop your technical skills alongside experienced engineers About You Some IT experience, education or relevant qualifications A genuine interest in networking and IT Basic understanding of networking concepts Keen to learn and develop Good communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working on customer sites Full UK driving licence You don''t need to be experienced in configuring routers and switches - training and support will be provided.
