IT Expert Senior - Apigee X Delivery ConsultantLocation: Remote (occasional site visits) London Contract: ASAP - June 2027Role Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Apigee X Consultant to support the hands-on configuration, development, testing and deployment of enterprise API management solutions on Google Cloud Platform.The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Apigee X proxies, policies, security controls, target connectivity and environment configurations across multiple technical workstreams.This is a hands-on technical delivery role requiring strong API engineering skills, troubleshooting capabilities and experience working with DevOps and CI/CD practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, configure and maintain API proxies and shared flows within Apigee X.Implement API policies, target Servers, KVMs, API products and developer applications.Configure API authentication, authorisation and security controls.Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key validation, mTLS and token-management patterns.Support Apigee X integration with Cloud Run and other GCP workloads.Configure and test Apigee environments, routing and target connectivity.Implement API security and governance controls across multiple workstreams.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated API deployment and promotion.Support API migration, onboarding and deployment activities.Perform functional, integration, performance and security testing.Troubleshoot end-to-end API requests, ..... full job details .....
