You will play a key role in designing and operating secure, reliable, and fully automated platform services that support our customers'' digital transformation strategies.Role Title: Senior SRE/DevOps EngineerLocation: Hatfield AL10 9TW Start/End Date: 20-Apr-2026 to 02-Sep-26Rate: PAYE £645/day (Basic)to £837 via umbrella (Inside IR35)Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Engineering andamp; OperationsBuild, run, and continuously improve lab and production platforms across GCP (GKE/GKE On Prem/GDC) and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).Operate Kubernetes clusters at scale, including cluster life cycle, upgrades, Day 0/1/2 automation, drift remediation, and reliability engineering.Implement GitOps first operations using ArgoCD.Enforce platform policies, configuration baselines, and compliance evidence collection.Automation andamp; Infrastructure as CodeEngineer consistent public/private cloud infrastructure using Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation Platform, and Metalsoft.Develop and maintain multistage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and TFE.Industrialise reusable Golden Path modules and templated stacks.Security, Zero Trust andamp; Secrets ManagementEmbed zero trust principles ..... full job details .....
