With a well-established central IT team, the School IT Engineer will become an integral part of the wider IT team, receiving significant support and training, working closely with IT specialists across the trust. Your new roleReporting to the IT Service Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues, administering systems, installing and configuring equipment, managing service desk tickets through to resolution, and supporting staff and students with day-to-day IT challenges. The role also includes working with third-party suppliers, contributing to IT projects, supporting examinations and controlled assessments, reviewing change requests, producing technical documentation, and identifying opportunities to improve IT services.
