Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the insurance sector? Our client is an independent insurance intermediary with over 30 years of experience, and they are now seeking an IT Director to join their Senior Leadership Team based at their offices in the City of London. The IT Director will lead a team of around 20 IT professionals, providing IT services for up to 250 employees distributed across both the head office, regional branches, and field-based staff. As the IT Director, you will be responsible for establishing and leading an in-house IT capability to support the ongoing growth of the business. You will work closely with business departmental heads to design and implement an IT strategy that aligns with key business objectives and supports future growth. You will also oversee the management of IT functions, service delivery, and budgeted spend, ensuring that IT infrastructure and service delivery is fit for purpose and compliant with FCA regulations. Key responsibilities for the IT Director will include leading on the design and implementation of new technologies, working within an Azure and Office 365 environment, as well as IT security, cyber security, ISO 27001, and business continuity planning.
