IT Deployment Technician

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an IT Deployment Technician.Job Overview: Technician 3 is responsible for deploying and configuring complex workstation environments, including multi-monitor, Trader, and MDandP desk setups, while ensuring high-quality installation standards and end-to-end deployment ownership. The role involves hardware installation, cabling, connectivity testing, quality assurance, and adherence to health and safety requirements within enterprise IT environments.Location: London EC1A 7BAContract Dates: 05 Oct 2026 - 04 Dec 2026Pay Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.85 PAYE) OR £25.75 per hour (via a Hays approved umbrella company).Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy and configure complex workstation environments.Install and configure four-monitor workstation setups.Set up and deploy Trader desk environments.Configure and deploy MDandP user desk setups.Install monitor brackets, fixings, and monitor mounting solutions in line with approved standards.Work with Technician 1 resources to safely install larger monitor configurations when required.Install desktop devices on or beneath desks according to design specifications.Connect and configure all power, network, video, and peripheral cabling.Ensure all cabling is neatly routed, secured, and compliant with deployment standards.Configure, power on, and test monitors to verify correct display functionality.Power on desktop devices and confirm network ..... full job details .....
