IT Audit Manager

Overview

We are supporting one of our Wealth Management clients with their search for an experienced IT Audit Manager to lead and deliver a wide range of audits with a strong focus on technology and operational resilience. This senior role plays a key part in safeguarding the organisation’s assets, reputation, and long-term sustainability.Responsibilities

Lead and deliver audits across IT and Operational functions, including: Cyber security, Third-party risk, Data governance and Operational resilienceManage the end-to-end delivery of audit assignments, ensuring quality and timely completionProvide expert advice on governance, risk management, and emerging technology risksBuild strong stakeholder relationships and communicate findings through clear reports and presentationsCoach and mentor auditors, supporting development and team performanceDrive continuous improvements in audit methodology, data analytics, and agile auditing practicesAbout you

Significant experience in risk and controls-focused roles (Internal Audit, IT Audit, Risk, or Compliance)Proven leadership of IT audit projects and multi-disciplinary teamsStrong technical knowledge of IT governance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, COBIT, FCA SYSC 8)Experience engaging with senior stakeholders at executive levelRelevant professional qualification (e.g., CISA, ACA, ACCA) or working towards oneStrong communication skills with the ability to deliver high-quality reports and recommendationsCurious, innovative, and resilient, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvementSeniority level
