Overview

Larbey Evans is partnering with their US law firm client to recruit an IT Applications Analyst to join their London office on a permanent basis.Base pay range

Salary to £55,000 per year plus benefits: £100 monthly employee contribution for lunch or other expenses, free lunch every Wednesday, discretionary bonuses, and more09:30–17:30 (Monday–Friday)Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)You will focus on the operational support and continuous improvement of enterprise application environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Key responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance, patching, monitoring, and user support across critical systems, while also contributing to process improvement, documentation, and integration stability.Responsibilities

Perform ongoing system maintenance, patching, and upgrades in coordination with change management proceduresManage user access controls, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviewsMonitor system health and performance; initiate health checks and proactively remediate issuesRespond to and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAsProvide break/fix troubleshooting and root cause analysis across supported systemsCollaborate with infrastructure teams to support system scalability and optimizationFacilitate alignment between delivery teams and Information Security, InfrastructurePartner with stakeholders to define and monitor adoption success criteria for newly implemented applicationsSkills and requirements

3+ years’ experience in enterprise application support or IT operations within a law firmBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring toolsUnderstanding of access management, patch management, and vulnerability remediation processesFamiliarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management)Exposure to application performance tuning, cloud platforms, or scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)Seniority level
