IT 1st/2nd Line Support Analyst

Excellent opportunity for an IT 1st/2nd Line Support Analyst to join a global manufacturing organisation providing 1st and 2nd line support on an initial 6-month contract - £150 per day (INSIDE IR35).Please note this role requires an immediate starter. The role is based in East Kilbride, with occasional travel to another central Scotland site.What you will do
In this role, you will be a key part of the UK IT Service Desk, supporting over circa 300 users locally and assisting with remote support for an additional 60 users in Asia. You will provide 1st line help desk support, manage hardware and software rollouts, troubleshoot application and hardware issues, and contribute to infrastructure and modernisation projects.Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line support across desktop, laptop, server, and printer systemsAdminister Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environmentsPerform patching and support for various business applicationsManage IT peripherals and printer systems across multiple UK sitesRegister and manage change requests and trouble ticketsParticipate in IT projects focused on system modernisationWhat you will bring
Degree in an IT-related disciplineMinimum of 2 years in a similar roleStrong technical knowledge and analytical skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft applications and general IT infrastructureTrack record of troubleshooting issuesExcellent communication and customer facing skillsAbility to think outside the box, prioritise effectively, and take ownership of issuesPrevious experience working in a manufacturing organisationAdditional Info
