We have an exciting opportunity for a senior Finance Business Partner to join the Insurance, Pensions and Investments (IPandI) Platform finance business partnering team!At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re undertaking the UK’s largest financial services transformation, investing to Grow, Focus and Change our business. Our Platforms teams, which bring together our business and technology teams, play a key role in delivering our strategy and how we invest in our business. This role will work with our IPandI Platforms and business management teams, providing finance business partner support on all aspects of their investment costs and benefits.Within Group Investment and Cost Partnering, this role is responsible for maximising value from the Insurance, Pensions and Investments platforms as they drive the strategic change of business unit. The role includes responsibilities across investment costs and benefits and includes day to day management of a small team. This is a leadership role and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute beyond their immediate areas of responsibility as well as being an exemplar of the behaviours which will drive our Grow with Purpose cultural shift.What you''ll be doing
Helping the Platforms to plan successfully and contributing to the setting of direction and goalsSharing Management information with senior partners, ensuring that results and issues are clearly explained and well understood and that follow up actions are clearSupporting and challenging the business, crafting well-understood forecasts along with a summary of financial risks and opportunitiesProviding commercial and decision support on key projects and contractual commitments, acting as a trusted advisorPlaying an active role in engaging with the Centres of Excellence, improving the flow of communication and the standards of inputs/outputsEmbedding the Group’s culture and vision through visible leadership, being a role model for the Group’s leadership behavioursSupporting the Head of Finance in building and maintaining a hard-working team, ensuring colleagues are developed effectively, utilising the groups Your Best principlesParticipating and making an impactful contribution to the development and objectives of the wider platform business partnering teamAbout us

You''ll need to be a qualified Accountant.Prior experience of Finance Business Partnering, influencing and driving improvement in Business resultsAbility to interact with stakeholders at all levels across Finance and Business teamsListening, joining the dots and summarising the story (across Investment costs and the resulting financial benefits)Challenging constructively to support better quality outputs and outcomes (e.g. through finding better ways to communicate financial information)Experience of supporting Change / Transformation including the impact of different technologies on financial statements would be valuableAbout working for us
