This person will sit in London as the dedicated lawyer there, with a wider team in the US.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering legal support for the client investment process. This will include reviewing and negotiating a broad range of investments, with a focus on private funds, such as hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds.The successful candidate will:Be either a US trained attorney located in London OR a lawyer with experience working with US lawyers or in a US law firm in London.Have gained experience (and be at least 5PQE) within a private funds team at a top-tier law firm, or have moved in-house within another US manager.Have an interest in working as the London-based member of an Investments Legal team based in the U.S.Have specific experience with primary, secondary, and direct transactions in private equity and venture capital is preferred.For more information, please contact Ellie: ellie.price@mrasearch.co.ukSeniority level
