Our client is an alternative asset management firm focused on investment opportunities in alternative credit. They are looking to hire a Product Specialist to support with product management, client relations and business development activities.Responsibilities:Create and distribute monthly/quarterly portfolio reports for investors, working closely with the investment teams to collate relevant information and data.Participate in technical discussions with clients and respond to a broad range of investor queries.Direct exposure to the portfolio management team, attending weekly investment meetings to better understand their investment views and positioning.Produce investor communications including marketing materials and thought leadership pieces.Drive process for creating responses to investor questionnaires, due diligence and ad hoc requests from existing or prospective clients.Actively involved in supporting senior members of the team with fundraising initiatives.Experience/Skills Required:2-4 years of relevant work experience with an asset manager or hedge fund.Fixed income or loan/credit experience preferred but not required.CFA a plus, but not essential.Degree educated with strong academic performance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Highly motivated individual who is proactive and intellectually curious.Willingness to take initiative and monitor workload to meet agreed deadlines.Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers, is an equal opportunities employer, and welcomes applications regardless of sex, marital status, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, religious belief or age.Apply for this ..... full job details .....
