Role OverviewThey are seeking an ambitious and analytical

Investment Manager

to join their investment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across distressed debt, special situations, and opportunistic private credit. This role offers significant responsibility and visibility, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to investment decisions and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

Origination and Deal Sourcing : Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across European markets, leveraging networks of advisors, banks, and corporates.

Investment Analysis : Conduct in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis for complex capital structures.

Due Diligence : Lead due diligence processes, including engaging with legal, financial, and operational advisors to assess risk and value drivers.

Transaction Execution : Support negotiation and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior investment professionals and external stakeholders.

Portfolio Management : Monitor existing portfolio companies and investments, track performance against investment theses, and provide recommendations for value creation or exit strategies.

Market Insight : Maintain a strong understanding of sector and macroeconomic developments relevant to the fund’s investment strategy.

Candidate Profile

Experience : 3+ years’ experience in private credit, leverage finance, special situations or credit opportunities.

Technical Skills : Exceptional financial modelling and analytical abilities; strong understanding of credit, restructuring processes, and valuation methodologies.

Commercial Acumen : Ability to assess complex situations, identify investment angles, and articulate clear investment theses.

Communication : Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, management teams, and advisors.

Mindset : Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
