LCM Partners is one of Europe’s leading alternative investment management firms with 26 years’ experience investing in private debt.Established in 1998, the Group is responsible for managing over €120bn of loans as a specialist in the investment and management of performing and non-performing receivables with over 2,000 people in 14 offices across ten European countries. Specialising in the more granular end of the private credit markets, the firm acquires pools of loans from financial institutions via the LCM Credit Opportunities Fund strategy (COPS) and provides new origination through its direct lending fund strategy, LCM Strategic Origination and Lending Opportunities (SOLO), which together represent €7 billion of capital commitments.What you’ll do

The successful candidate will be a member of the Investment function helping LCM Partners to achieve its deployment and investment return goals. You will be assisting with both secured and unsecured portfolios and be fully involved in the entire lifecycle from origination to closing, including analysis, due diligence, pricing, presenting to the Investment Committee and transaction execution.More specifically, as an Investment Manager you will:Investment Analysis:Conduct detailed data and financial analysis to support portfolio reviews and investment evaluationsBuild and maintain cash flow and pricing models to inform investment decisionsPerform scenario planning and statistical analysis on prospective investment opportunitiesAnalyse portfolio performance data and integrate insights into future pricing strategies and investment decisionsPrepare, develop, and present well-reasoned investment proposals for internal review and approvalCoordinate and support due diligence processes, including information gathering and analysisCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel on the preparation, negotiation, and review of transaction documentationContribute to the assessment and implementation of optimal transaction structuresBusiness Development and Deal Origination:Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by fostering relationships with advisors, banking partners and other market participantsConduct market research and strategic analysis to support expansion into new sectors or geographiesAnalyse potential acquisitions or strategic corporate initiatives, preparing supporting material and recommendationsManage the business development pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with Managing DirectorsProvide analytical and strategic support for broader business development initiativesWhat you''ll bring

University degree, ideally in finance, accounting, investment analysis, financial management or statistical analysis; additional relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA) a plusMinimum of five years’ experience in credit investment or a related fieldFluency in German and high proficiency in written and spoken EnglishStrong analytical, mathematical, and advanced Excel skills; proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively within a teamWhat we offer
