Investment Director, German Mid Market Growth Investment FundThis uniquely positioned Growth Fund Manager, boasting an impressive, well networked, high profile team, are looking to recruit an experienced German Speaking Private Equity Investment Manager or Director to join either their London or Munich Office.

We’re working with a Mid Market Growth Investment Fund Manager, currently on their second Fund targeting the UK, Germany and Scandinavia. After the huge success of their first fund, this represents genuine growth beyond the UK.

As a senior member of the Investment team, this is a high profile role with strategic input internationally. You will have to leverage off your strong network internationally originating unique and high potential growth opportunities, along with working closely with management teams to realise their goals and ultimately the Funds Investment.

In this role you will be expected to:

Source and identify new sustainable investment opportunities, produce deal screening reports, considering returns in the context of identified risks and how these can be managed along with other mitigating factors.

Work closely with teams internationally and the wider Fund network to identify new investment opportunities across Germany.

Work closely with Management Teams through the investment life cycle.

Build and develop a strong working relationship with key Investment partners internationally.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Relevant academic qualifications commensurate to job description.

Minimum 10 years direct investment exposure, origination, modelling, portfolio management and exit experience.

Written and spoken German and English necessary for this role and focus.

A background in either Private Equity Growth or Buyout investing is a necessity and ideally a working knowledge of the German market.

Experience analysing, building and maintaining complex financial models.

Results orientated approach with the ability to deliver to deadlines.

A team player mentality with excellent communication skills and a hands-on attitude.

Experience recruiting and retaining investment teams.
