Investment Banking Director

Overview

Pearse Partners has partnered with a leading mid-market investment bank, seeking a high-performing Director to join our London and Manchester MandA team, with a focus on transactions in the Industrials sector. You will lead deal origination and execution, manage client relationships at a senior level, and play a key role in driving the growth of our Industrials franchise.Key Responsibilities

Lead execution of MandA transactions across the Industrials space (sell-side, buy-side, and cross-border deals).Originate new mandates through established client networks and proactive business development.Manage and mentor Associate Directors, Associates, and Analysts on live deals and pitches.Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity, and other financial sponsors.Requirements

9+ years of MandA experience within Industrials at a top-tier investment bank, boutique or Big 4.Proven track record in deal origination and execution in the mid-market (c. £50m–£500m EV).Strong client network and business development skills.Excellent leadership, project management, and negotiation abilities.Highly motivated with commercial drive and sector expertise.This role is able to be based in either the London or Manchester offices.Seniority level
