The firm advises a large number of UK-quoted corporate clients, historically strong in IPOs, fundraising across all capital structures, and public and private MandA.

Role OverviewWe are seeking a high-calibre Associate to join our London investment banking team. The Associate will play a critical role in executing transactions, working on capital raising, deals advisory, due diligence, and liaising with both private and public companies. Close interaction with senior bankers and exposure across ECM, MandA, debt advisory and strategic clients is expected.

Key Responsibilities

Support origination and evaluation of transactions (ECM, MandA, debt) involving UK-quoted and private companies

Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses

Assist with due diligence (commercial, financial, operational) and prepare deal documentation and investment / advisory memos

Help structure and execute transactions: IPOs, secondary raises, MandA sell- and buy-side, capital structure refinancings etc.

Monitor market trends, perform sector research, and produce investment banking market intelligence

Work closely with Corporate Broking / Investor Relations teams to manage relationships with clients, boards, and institutional investors

Support post-deal activities and assist with value creation and integration where relevant

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or similar

2-5 years’ experience in investment banking or top-tier strategy consulting / advisory relevant to capital markets / MandA

Strong Excel / financial modelling and valuation skillset

Excellent written and oral communication in English; ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Detail-oriented, able to multitask and handle tight deadlines

Good commercial judgment, ability to think strategically, strong interpersonal skills
