Your new role
You will be joining the Regulatory team as an investigative enforcement officer, working to compile evidence and generate to enforce government legislation:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and assess regulatory and compliance cases from initial enquiry through to resolution.
- Investigate alleged breaches of legislation, policy and regulatory requirements.
- Review evidence and make informed recommendations based on regulatory frameworks.
- Support compliance monitoring, audit and inspection activity.
- Apply enforcement measures and sanctions where appropriate.
- Interpret legislation, policy and guidance to support decision-making.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to operational teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and case management documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of regulatory processes and compliance outcomes.
What you''ll need to succeed
We are keen to hear from candidates who can quickly adapt to a regulatory environment and bring established investigation and enforcement expertise.
You may have experience in:
- Regulatory compliance and enforcement
- Investigations and evidence gathering
- Case management and decision-making
- Compliance monitoring and inspections
- Enforcement action and sanctions
- Legislative and policy interpretation
- Stakeholder engagement and regulatory advice

What We''re Looking For
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience of investigating potential non-compliance or regulatory breaches.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess evidence objectively.
- Confidence interpreting legislation, policy and guidance.
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and competing priorities.
