Inventory Controller

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join a busy warehouse operation based in the Coalville (LE67) area. This is initially a 6 month placement supporting the existing Stock Team, with the potential for a long term Stock Controller opportunity for the right candidate who demonstrates the required skills and performance. The working hours for the Inventory Controller position are Monday to Friday, 06:00 till 14:00. Some flexibility around working days may be considered for the right candidate. The pay rate for this role is 13.70 per hour. Job Duties: Carrying out regular inventory and stock checks within a busy warehouse environment Ensuring all pallets received onto site are correctly receipted within the system Checking that pallets are scanned accurately into the correct racking locations Searching for and identifying pallets that have been incorrectly scanned or located Investigating stock discrepancies and inventory issues Resolving stock location and system discrepancies Maintaining accurate stock records across the warehouse Working closely with the Stock Team and warehouse operation to resolve inventory issues Using warehouse systems to track, locate and verify stock Supporting periodic stock counts and inventory checks Ensuring a high level of accuracy across all stock movements Other stock and inventory duties as reasonably required The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience carrying out stock counts or periodic ..... full job details .....
