Job title:Inventory CheckerJob location:BasildonRate: 15.64Overtime AvailableHours per week:37Duration:12 month FTC - (Opportunity to go perm)Start date:ASAPClient Summary:A leading, well recognised global manufacturer of Agricultural machineryPosition Summary:Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of manufacturing inventory, identifying andreporting variances, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.Roles can include: Perform daily cycle counts of inventory in designated areas. Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records in WMS (AS400). Investigate discrepancies and document findings. Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances. Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Identify and document damaged or misplaced products found during counts. Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve inventory issues.Person Profile/Experience: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong numeracy and analytical skills. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting, carrying, walking,standing, twisting, kneeling, and bending for up to 9 hours per shift. Ability to distinguish basic colours and shades for inventory coding purposes. Proficient in basic computer applications, including MS Excel and MS Access. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
