Inventory and SIOP Manager Manchester £50,000 £55,000 Permanent We re recruiting for an established international engineering and manufacturing business looking for an experienced Inventory and SIOP Manager to take ownership of inventory performance and support the wider planning process at its Manchester operation. This is a hands-on role for someone with proven manufacturing inventory experience who understands raw materials, WIP, finished goods and how inventory planning connects with demand, supply and production. What you''ll be doing Manage inventory across raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods Support and help lead the monthly SIOP / SandOP process Align demand, supply, production and inventory plans Maintain stock levels that support production while reducing excess inventory and working capital Analyse inventory, forecasting and planning data Monitor material availability, supplier lead times and supply risks Improve stock accuracy, stock turns and material flow Identify and reduce slow-moving, obsolete and excess inventory Work closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance and Logistics Support continuous improvement across inventory and warehouse processes Produce clear reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders What we''re looking for You ll need proven inventory management experience within a manufacturing environment.
