Inventory and Procurement Manager (Supply Chain)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Inventory and Procurement Manager to take ownership of purchasing, inventory management and supplier performance within a busy and growing business based near Romsey.This is a key position responsible for ensuring products and materials are available to support customer demand whilst maintaining efficient stock levels and strong supplier partnerships. Working across multiple departments, you will play an important role in supporting operational performance, driving efficiencies and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.The successful candidate will be a commercially minded professional with a strong understanding of procurement, stock management and forecasting, alongside the ability to build effective supplier relationships and lead a small team.The RoleAs Inventory and Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include:Managing the day-to-day purchasing and inventory functionsDeveloping and implementing procurement strategies to support business growthProducing demand forecasts and analysing purchasing requirementsMonitoring and optimising stock levels to ensure availability whilst minimising excess inventoryBuilding and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and distributorsNegotiating supplier pricing, lead times, contracts, and service agreementsReviewing and enhancing procurement, inventory, and supply chain processesDriving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency ..... full job details .....
