Inventory and Pre-installation Technician

We are seeking an Inventory and Pre-installation Technician to bring structure, accuracy and practical technical capability to our Stores function. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, comfortable working with technical equipment, and keen to take ownership of equipment preparation before it reaches our engineers or installation teams. The successful candidate will play an important part in improving stock control, reducing routine preparation work for Engineering, and making sure equipment leaves Stores correctly labelled, checked, configured where appropriate and ready for installation. You will work closely with Engineering, Service, Projects, Procurement and wider operational teams to keep equipment moving efficiently and accurately. Key responsibilities Take day-to-day ownership of Stores, ensuring stock is organised, controlled and available when required. Maintain accurate stock records, including stock movements, returns and allocations. Support clear Stores processes, housekeeping standards and quality controls. Apply the correct CL labels and ensure equipment is prepared, checked and installation ready. Complete repeatable pre-installation tasks such as firmware updates, basic system initialisation and suitable pre-configuration after appropriate training. Connect, initialise and onboard suitable equipment to relevant cloud platforms where required.
