The role establishes a trusted inventory baseline, improves stock integrity and leads asset recovery and obsolescence activity, protecting cash, reducing write-off risk and strengthening audit compliance. Role Accountability''s Establish and maintain an agreed inventory baseline across systems, warehouses and other holding points. Define controls for stock movements, adjustments, reconciliations and cycle counting. Lead discrepancy investigations and ensure root causes and corrective actions are addressed. Create and manage a recovery pipeline for stranded, returned and reusable assets. Prioritise reuse and redeployment before new purchase. Segment aged inventory and coordinate reuse, resale, refurbishment, recycling or write-off. Improve return and RMA controls with teams, suppliers and logistics partners.
