It is essential for you to have the following skills to be able to Apply:

  • ECS/CSCS Card.
  • FIA or equivalent industry qualifications.
  • IPAF Licence.
  • PASMA Certification.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems.
  • Experience with monitored signalling systems and cloud-based remote management platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Intruder Alarm Engineer to install, commission, service, maintain and repair intruder alarm systems. The role involves programming equipment, diagnosing faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, and ensuring all systems operate safely and in accordance with relevant industry standards.

You will work directly with customers, providing technical advice, user training and professional support, while completing accurate job documentation and maintaining high standards of health and safety. The ideal candidate will be reliable, technically competent and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Skills -

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience installing and maintaining intruder alarm systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with leading manufacturers such as:
    • Orisec
    • HKC
    • Texecom
    • Pyronix
    • Galaxy
    • RISCO
  • Knowledge of IP networking and alarm communication methods.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
