We’re Hiring a Press Brake Operator!
Looking for your next hands-on role in manufacturing? We’re on the lookout for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our client''s team on a long term basis. If you’ve got a good eye for detail, know your way around engineering drawings, and enjoy working with machinery, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Reading shop orders and engineering drawings
Setting up and running the press brake to bend, shape or form metal
Using tools like calipers and protractors to check your work
Keeping machines clean and in good working order
Making machine adjustments for speed and feed
Checking parts to make sure they meet spec
Logging jobs in system
Following safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE
Flagging any issues to your supervisor
What We’re Looking For:
A full UK driving licence
FLT licence? (beneficial but not a dealbreaker)
Someone with a solid production mindset
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience in a similar role is a big plus
What You’ll Get:
£20.56 per hour
Paid overtime at a higher rate
Day shifts - Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
