Interventions Tutor Job DetailsWe are seeking dedicated and adaptable Interventions Tutors to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to children and young people who require additional help to overcome barriers to learning.Working with students both in and outside of mainstream education, you will deliver tailored interventions designed to improve engagement, raise attainment, build confidence, and support educational progress.Many learners may have additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, anxiety, school avoidance, and other SEND requirements, requiring a flexible and student-centred approach.Location: Dorset and BCP AreaHours: FlexibleStart Date: September 2026Type: Intervention Support / TutoringPay Rate: 25- 30 The RoleAs an Interventions Tutor, you will:Deliver targeted educational interventions tailored to individual needsSupport students to close learning gaps and improve attainmentBuild confidence, motivation, and engagement with learningAdapt teaching strategies to suit different learning stylesWork closely towards EHCP outcomes and educational goals where applicableProvide progress updates and feedback as required RequirementsMinimum 6 months'' experience working in an educational settingExperience supporting children or young people with SEND, EHCPs, or additional learning needsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPatient, creative, and adaptable approachAbility to deliver engaging and personalised support sessionsEnhanced DBS (or ..... full job details .....
