Interventions Teaching Assistant - EYFS and KS1 Camden, NW1 (commutable from King''s Cross, Euston, Kentish Town, Islington, Bloomsbury)£105-£120 per dayStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-time, long-term temporaryLong Term Futures is seeking a proactive and skilled Interventions Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with non-verbal ASD, alongside delivering targeted interventions across EYFS and KS1 in a welcoming Camden primary school.This is a split-role position, ideal for someone who enjoys combining specialist 1:1 SEN support with broader intervention work to raise attainment and support early development.About the RoleWorking closely with the class teacher and SENCo, your responsibilities will include:Providing focused 1:1 support for a non-verbal Reception pupil following a structured 90-minute timetableSupporting communication using visual aids, PECS, Makaton or similar strategiesAssisting with sensory needs, routines and emotional regulationDelivering small-group interventions across EYFS and KS1, including phonics, early language and numeracySupporting pupils with additional needs to access learningEncouraging engagement, communication and independenceMonitoring progress and feeding back to staff to refine support strategiesThis is a varied and rewarding role where you will make a direct impact on both individual pupil progress and wider intervention outcomes.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience supporting non-verbal ASD or complex communication needsConfident ..... full job details .....
