Interventional Radiographer

Evolve Staffing Ltd. is actively recruiting an experienced Band 6 Interventional Radiographer to join a dynamic NHS diagnostic imaging department within a major hospital based in Bristol. This specialist position is ideal for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiographer seeking to utilize advanced clinical skills in vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, cardiac catheterisation labs, and fluoroscopy suites. Core Responsibilities and Clinical Duties: Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and therapeutic guidance across interventional radiology (IR) suites, cardiac catheter labs, and hybrid operating theatres. Perform complex vascular imaging, angiography, embolisation procedures, and image-guided diagnostic interventions alongside Consultant Radiologists. Maintain rigorous radiation protection protocols in full compliance with IR(ME)R 2017 regulations and local hospital safety guidelines. Provide clinical mentorship to junior radiographers, student radiographers, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members. Essential Requirements: Full HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer. BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognized post-graduate qualification. Demonstrable NHS experience operating within specialized Interventional Radiology environments. Proven expertise in radiation safety, fluoroscopy, and sterile interventional techniques. ..... full job details .....
