Location: TamesideJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £13.01 per hourWe are seeking a dedicated Intervention Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Service. This role is crucial in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children with additional needs through effective assessment and coordination of appropriate services.Day-to-day of the role:Carry out assessment of need for disabled children Work with the families at intervention level and arrange and monitor reviews Carry out assessments for children with additional needs at early intervention stages.Coordinate service provision to meet the needs of these children.Conduct regular reviews and visits in accordance with service procedures.Engage in direct work with children using various communication methods, including work with their families, to meet their assessed needs.Respect and promote the needs of children arising from their disability, racial, cultural, religious, and linguistic backgrounds.Engage parents, carers, and children in meaningful and open working relationships, encouraging their full participation.Support the development of parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for disabled children.Work jointly within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with other agencies.Maintain up-to-date records and ensure effective communication with other professionals involved.Participate in training as required and contribute to policy making within the service.Required Skills and Qualifications:Educated to GCSE ..... full job details .....
