Intervention Worker (Out of Hours)

Right now, we are looking for an Out of Hours Intervention Worker to play a pivotal role in our Criminal Justice Approved Premises Service in Streatham. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As an Out of Hours Intervention Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting residents living within an Approved Premises setting during overnight hours. Working closely with probation services, police and other partner agencies, you will help create a safe, structured and supportive environment that promotes rehabilitation while ensuring public protection remains at the heart of all activity. You will build positive relationships with residents, encourage engagement and compliance with licence conditions, and provide practical support to help individuals move towards greater independence and stability. You will monitor the safety, security and wellbeing of residents throughout the night, carrying out regular checks, responding to incidents, and taking appropriate enforcement action where required. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, sharing information appropriately with colleagues and partner agencies, supporting the delivery of sentence plans, and ensuring the premises remain clean, safe and welcoming.
