      <description>Location: Newcastle upon Tyne | Salary: &amp;pound;25 - &amp;pound;30/hour | Type: Temporary | Intervention Tutor (KS3/KS4 - SEND &amp; SEMH)  Location: Newcastle   Pay Rate: GBP25-GBP30 per hour   Hours: Up to 15 hours per week   Contract: Temporary | Part-Time | Term-Time    Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and experienced Intervention Tutor to provide 1:1 and small-group support to secondary-aged students (KS3/KS4) across Newcastle.  Many of the young people you will support have SEND and SEMH needs, requiring tailored academic, social, and emotional support to help them engage positively with learning.    This role is ideal for a tutor who adopts a calm, structured, and student-centred approach, and who can work collaboratively with families, schools, and external professionals to support students progress and wellbeing.
