Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant - NottinghamAre you an experienced Teaching Assistant confident delivering targeted interventions to help pupils close gaps in their learning?Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking Primary Intervention Teaching Assistants to work across schools in Nottingham and the surrounding areas.These roles will involve working with individual pupils and small groups across areas including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics, supporting children who require additional reinforcement or catch-up support.We are looking for full-time and part-time candidates, with short-term and long-term opportunities available.ResponsibilitiesDelivering targeted phonics, reading, writing and mathematics interventionsWorking with individual pupils and small groupsSupporting pupils who require additional catch-up or reinforcementDeveloping reading fluency, vocabulary and comprehensionSupporting spelling, handwriting and written communicationDeveloping mathematical fluency, number knowledge and confidenceMonitoring pupil progress and feeding back to class teachersAdapting activities to meet individual learning needsRequirementsPrevious experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary schoolExperience delivering academic interventions is highly desirableKnowledge of phonics and early reading programmes is advantageousA Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, although relevant experience will also be consideredStrong ..... full job details .....
