This role does not offer sponsorship.As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Intervention Support Worker to join our close-knit team at Reddish Hall School, part of Acorn Education.About the RoleThe primary purpose of the Intervention Support Worker role at Reddish Hall School is to provide high-quality, targeted support to pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with pupils who have a range of needs, including attachment difficulties, developmental trauma and barriers to learning. They will be instrumental in helping the school develop its therapeutic approach to supporting pupils and enabling them to achieve successful outcomes.Responsibilities Provide high-quality support on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsPlan, deliver, monitor, and provide feedback on small group/1:1 interventions in coordination with SEND department and school staffAssist with the testing of pupilsWhere appropriate, check and contribute to home-school contact books, taking direction from the class teacherTo support pupils in the wider school setting when ..... full job details .....
