International Tax Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for an International Tax Consultant to join our Finance team, based in AandO Shearman''s Belfast Office.International Tax and Accounting team - BelfastThe International Tax Team, which is part of the Partners'' Affairs and Tax ("PAT") Team, is responsible for oversight of the firm''s tax risk and policies and global tax compliance. What you will doAs an International Tax and Accounting Consultant, you will be responsible for the management of the international tax compliance affairs of both AandO Shearman and its individual partners for around one third of the territories in which AandO Shearman operates on both an accurate and timely basis, including accounting for tax reserves and tax payments.This role involves:Liaising with international offices and external advisers to provide data for completion of tax returns for AandO Shearman and individual partners.Attending meetings with global finance managers and external advisers as necessary.Involvement in annual budgeting process.Handling internal and client withholding tax queries and liaising with global finance teams.Preparing Double Tax Relief (DTR) calculations for annual UK tax return filings for individual partners.Liaising with Allen and Overy finance teams globally to reconcile and ensure accurate posting of international tax payments.Involvement in year end work processes, including setup of international tax reserves, tax equalisation calculations, accounts disclosures and account ..... full job details .....
