International Supply Chain Specialist

Poole Competitive Salary 39 hours per week Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for an experienced International Supply Chain Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in import/export, customs compliance and international logistics to take on a key role within the supply chain function. The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for customs compliance, international trade, freight coordination and shipping, working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Warehouse, freight forwarders, customs brokers and external logistics providers. The main duties for the International Supply Chain Specialist: You will be responsible for ensuring international shipments are processed accurately, efficiently and in full compliance with UK and international customs and trade requirements.Managing import and export activities in line with UK and international trade regulationsPreparing, reviewing and maintaining customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and export declarationsCoordinating customs clearance with freight forwarders and customs brokersEnsuring compliance with customs regulations, sanctions and export controlsCoordinating inbound and outbound international shipmentsMonitoring shipments and proactively resolving freight, customs or documentation issuesProviding escalation support for urgent and ..... full job details .....
