International Sales Executive

Sayjo Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a successful client who is looking to engage an

International Sales Executive with a technical background.

This is a role that would suit an experienced sales person with exposure to international travel for business. We are looking for someone who is professional, well-presented and commercially astute, capable of forming strong relationships with customers from different countries / cultures.

Our client is highly reputable, a market leader for over 60 years. They are exclusive distributors of several types of specialist textile fibres, which they sell throughout Europe, India and the Far East.

Duties include:

• Research and understand the market opportunities and demand for our product
• Build technical knowledge of our product and its applications, to achieve sales and support customers
• Attend and lead communications at trade shows and exhibitions nationally and internationally.
• Visit customers / potential customers in locations like Europe, India and Far East
• Be able to negotiate with customers
• Follow up opportunities, building a sales pipeline and updating CRM of all sales activities

Our requirements:

• Educated to degree level within a technical field, such as chemicals, textiles or electronics (any technical subject considered, our client is looking for someone who is clearly bright and able to quickly learn and understand the technical detail of their product).
• Experience in advising customers on technical products - specifications and capabilities
• A networker and natural sales person who can open doors and create opportunities
• Willingness to travel extensively, both within the UK, Europe, India and Far East.
• An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• The role is based in our clients Elland office, in West Yorkshire on non-travel days
