Workshop Engineer (x2) - Hydraulic/Mechanical AssemblyLocation: GloucesterA well-established engineering services business is seeking two Workshop Engineers to join its internal workshop team. This is a hands-on role supporting increased demand, focused on the build, assembly, and testing of industrial equipment within a structured workshop environment.The RoleYou will be responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing equipment from engineering drawings through to final build. The role involves working on bespoke mechanical systems and components, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical systems, sub-assemblies, and components from engineering drawingsBuild and configure equipment including pumps, motors, valves, and associated componentsCarry out pipework and hose assembly where requiredPerform testing, inspection, and basic system validationCarry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and general assembly tasksEnsure equipment meets required performance and quality standardsComplete build records, test documentation, and job reportsMaintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment in line with HSE standardsAbout YouStrong hands-on mechanical assembly and fitting experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working in a workshop, manufacturing, or assembly environmentSome exposure to fluid power or similar systems is beneficialGood attention to detail and quality standardsBasic understanding of ..... full job details .....
