      <description>Location: Norwich | Salary: &amp;pound;16.50 - &amp;pound;19/hour | Type: Permanent | Position 1 Recruitment -are working with an established engineering company in Norwich who are looking for an experienced- Workshop Engineer -to join their team.   Key Responsibilities     Inspect incoming pumps and related machinery, identifying faults and determining the appropriate repair or replacement solution.   Dismantle, inspect and overhaul pumps, carrying out mechanical repairs and fault-finding as required.   Rebuild completed units and conduct operational testing to confirm they are performing safely and correctly.   Produce, modify and restore mechanical components to meet engineering requirements.   Carry out machining and fabrication tasks using equipment such as centre lathes, milling machines, pillar/bench drills, grinders and specialist drilling equipment.   Work alongside the Workshop Manager to develop and produce components for repair and replacement projects.    Skills &amp; Experience     Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
