Internal Sales Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive based in Northampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Internal Sales Executive
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Location: Northampton
Type of Contract: permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week
Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Executive
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing excellent service and support.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive sales calls and lead follow-ups.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure accurate record-keeping in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support account management and assist with reporting on sales performance.
Requirements for a successful Internal Sales Executive
- Proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally in B2B environments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Organised and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Confident using CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
