I''m looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Engineer to join the team of a global manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting customers, developing new business opportunities, and delivering technically accurate solutions that make a real impact.

• Preparing detailed commercial and technical quotations for customers.
• Managing enquiries from initial contact through to successful order placement.
• Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing customer accounts.
• Building strong relationships with customers and supporting our external sales team.
• Reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical specifications.
• Providing expert commercial and technical advice to customers.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and tracking project opportunities.
• Ensuring quotations are delivered on time and meet company margin requirements.
• Collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional customer service.

You''ll ideally have:

• A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in technical sales, internal sales or applications engineering.
• The ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical specifications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive opportunities forward.
• A commitment to delivering high professional standards and outstanding customer service.
