Internal Sales

Internal Sales Location: Office-based, Birmingham Salary: £28K - £30K + 25% OTE Primary Purpose To grow sales and profit from an assigned portfolio, primarily consisting of C and D accounts, through proactive and regular customer contact. The role will focus on developing existing accounts, reactivating lapsed customers and generating new sales opportunities. Telephone contact will be the primary method of communication, supported by email and other appropriate channels. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an assigned portfolio, primary consisting of C and D accounts, to achieve agreed sales, profit and activity targets. Proactively contact customers by telephone to understand their requirements, identify opportunities and increase engagement. Review customer and sales data to identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling and repeat business. Reactivate inactive customers through structured outbound calling and follow-up activity. Research and contact prospective customers to generate and qualify new business opportunities. Qualify inbound and outbound leads, handling opportunities directly where appropriate or passing them to the relevant member of the Sales Team. Arrange qualified customer appointments for the field-based Sales Executives. Prepare and follow up quotations in line with company processes.
