Internal Sales Account Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business operating within a specialist technical services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a successful team in a role combining new business development, account management and project sales. The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of customers while also identifying and developing new commercial opportunities. You will work with a varied client base, helping them find the right solutions for their projects. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales activity. Handle incoming sales enquiries and convert opportunities into profitable business. Research prospective customers and generate new leads using a range of sources and sales tools. Contact prospective clients by telephone, email and other appropriate channels. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Review project information, drawings and specifications to establish customer requirements. Prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations. Follow up quotations and manage opportunities through to completion. Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales information within the company''s CRM system.
