About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused Internal Account Manager to join our Procurement team.

This is a varied and commercially focused role, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of internal sales and procurement activities - from initial quotation requests through to order placement, renewals and after-sales support.

Working closely with schools, consultants, suppliers and internal teams, you will ensure customers receive accurate quotations, timely updates and a high standard of service throughout their purchasing journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end sales process for designated regions, from initial quotation through to order fulfilment.
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations within agreed service levels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Convert approved quotations into sales orders and issue relevant contractual documentation.
• Place and manage orders for hardware, software, licensing and project-related equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure products are delivered in line with installation and project schedules.
• Manage software, licensing, broadband and hardware warranty renewals.
• Act as a first point of contact for customer and consultant enquiries.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, product information, availability and lead times.
• Support warranty claims, invoice queries and supplier certification requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM, finance and business systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and internal efficiency.

You will have:

• Previous experience in an internal sales, account management, purchasing, procurement or customer service role.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
• Good IT skills, including experience using CRM and business systems.
• A proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative approach to work.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider team.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within the IT channel, technology or education sector.
• An understanding of ICT products, services and software licensing.
• Previous experience within a procurement or purchasing environment.
• Knowledge of the education sector and the schools market.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and customer renewals.
