We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading chemical distributor for an Internal Account Manager to join their growing Leeds team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with experience selling physical products in a B2B environment — ideally within chemicals or technical ingredients.

The Role:

• Manage and develop existing customer accounts in the household ingredients sector

• Promote a wide portfolio of speciality chemicals and value-added services

• Handle customer quotes, samples, CRM updates, and day-to-day communication

• Work closely with field sales and technical teams to drive growth

• Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into repeat business

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in internal sales or account management

• Essential: background in selling physical products (not just services or solutions)

• Chemical or technical product experience is a strong advantage

• Proactive, commercially minded, and confident in client engagement

• Strong communicator and well-organised multitasker

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
