Job DescriptionOur client is a privately owned, MEP building services consultancy established in 1993 based in Hertforshire. They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 30 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on some of the UKs largest high end residential and education projects.Building Services Experience required:Low Voltage (LV) DistributionGeneral and Emergency LightingGeneral LV PowerAccess Control, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Intruder AlarmsFire Detection and AlarmLightning and Surge Protection SystemsThe role will involve:Complete survey work and site inspectionsUndertake design calculations using various methods, from manual calculations to software-based modellingPrepare drawingsWrite technical specificationWrite technical reportsProblem solvingSupport the Senior Management Team with client relationship management on projects they are working onTake responsibility for their professional and personal developmentIn order to be considered for this role you will have:Minimum 3-6 years building services consultancy experienceA degree qualification – Electrical or building services (Chartered or working towards).
