Intermediate Quantity Surveyor -Client-Side

Our client in Property and Construction consultancy is looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join them in Woking.

This is a client-side role based in the Winchester area. (Hybrid)

Duties and responsibilities:

• Pre-construction

Undertaking feasibility studies

Performing risk and value management assessments

Compiling tender enquiries

Procurement

Cost Planning

Tender analysis

Negotiating tenders and contracts

• Construction

Contract drafting

Contract administration

Change management, assessment and instruction

Applications and payments

Final account negotiation

Report writing

Other activities

Fund monitoring

Chairing meetings

Requirements

Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

Personable nature

A desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly

A reasonable understanding of construction methodologies and techniques -

The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferably degree (or equivalent) educated (not necessarily in quantity surveying) although this is not essential

A full clean driving licence and own vehicle
