Intermediate Mechanical Engineer

I''m currently working with a well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Building Services team in Nottingham.

The Role
 
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you''ll be responsible for delivering mechanical building services designs, supporting project delivery, and working closely with both clients and multidisciplinary teams.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
·Producing mechanical building services designs and technical specifications.
·Developing practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
·Delivering projects on time and within budget.
·Attending client meetings and contributing to project briefs.
·Preparing technical reports and reviewing tender submissions.
·Conducting site inspections, surveys and condition reports.
·Collaborating with architects, surveyors and other engineering disciplines.
·Utilising industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit and IES.
 
About You
To be considered, you''ll ideally have:
 
·A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
·Experience delivering mechanical design projects within the built environment.
·Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
·Experience using IES and other building services design software.
·Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
·A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
