Intermediate Fire Engineer

Intermediate Fire Engineer - Fully Remote You will be an Intermediate Fire Engineer looking for a new permanent role. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer with consultancy experience who wants exposure to a varied project portfolio, greater technical responsibility, and clear support toward professional development and Chartership. Key Responsibilities: Develop fire engineering strategies in line with BS 9999, BS 9991, BS 7974, Approved Document B, and other relevant fire protection standards. Design and assess active fire protection systems, including sprinkler, water mist, and gaseous suppression systems. Carry out fire risk assessments and provide technical fire safety advice to clients. Assist with CFD modelling and fire simulations where required. Produce fire systems designs in BIM software such as Revit for coordination with other disciplines. Liaise with clients, architects, and regulatory authorities to support compliance with UK fire safety regulations. Prepare technical reports, fire safety statements, and evacuation strategies. Support senior engineers with project delivery and provide guidance to junior team members. You will have: Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Approximately 2-5 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy or a closely related role. Strong working knowledge of BS 9999, BS 7974, Approved Document B, and other relevant fire standards.
